my bikesdirect.com experience

ordered 57mm black mercier kilo tt no tax no shipping on sept 11 2009 at 8:00am.

8:14am immediately after the order was placed an email was received from paypal saying that the payment was received..which means my card was charged right away even though I didint pay by logging into paypal (dont have a paypal account). Keep in mind that this was the only way to pay by credit card (unless I was missing something). And I purposely didnt log into my paypal account because I hate using it.

no email was received from bikes direct but it all seemed to be going ok I definitely wasn't going to contact them till the folling monday if I hadn't heard any confirmation on shipment...i started to read a few bad reviews on the net and the fact that they dont list a number on their website kind of bothered me. but lo and behold

2:16pm paypal and ups email me seperately saying my package has been shipped. tracking number is provided. ups just says billing info received-which is normal until the package hits its first checkpoint where it's scanned.

4:49pm bikesdirect.com sends their first e-mail (which is pretty long) saying my order will be shipped ups etc.. my tracking number and a bunch of info on putting the bike togheter

11: 55pm: I check my UPS.com tracking number and my order really did ship! It's gonna be here 9/16/2009, thats 3 business days.

So far my bikesdirect.com experience has been awesome.
